Brave Enough to Be Me

Can I be brave enough to stand out from the crowd? To swim against the current? To face forward when everyone is facing backward? To stand up when everyone is sitting down.

I did all of those things in the past. And I got hurt sometimes. I am scared to get hurt again. Sometimes I don't feel ready. Sometimes. But sometimes... I am.

I am brave enough to look like a fool when everyone's trying to look smart. I am brave enough to swim against the mighty current of this time. I am brave enough to be me.
