The Dragon's Embrace
I’m not sure where I am now. Somewhere between worlds.
Passing through the shadows. The Black Dragon let me pass only after I gave him her, my White Dragon, and between their embrace a portal appeared.
They’ve extended their hands to me, those Beings of Light. A few years ago they wouldn't even look at me.
I don’t know where that portal leads, and I’m still fighting my human needs. Not sure where I am right now.
Interpretation
This dream depicts the Mysterium Conjunctionis—the sacred marriage of opposites that concludes the great work. The Black Dragon (the Shadow, the primal, the earth) and your White Dragon (the Soul, the ideal, the spirit) are no longer in conflict. By giving one to the other, you have moved beyond the "war" of the self and allowed them to embrace. This union is the only thing powerful enough to open the portal to the truly unknown.
The "Beings of Light" extending their hands represent a shift in your spiritual status. They would not look at you before because you were fragmented; now that you have integrated your darkness and your light, you have become "visible" to the higher dimensions of consciousness. You have earned their recognition not by being "perfect," but by becoming whole.
